to the one man band operating his own private taxi. Taxi ranks can be found at Malaga airport, Granada airport and at Almeria airport all offering fares to your destination in the Costa Tropical, Lecrin valley or the Las Alpujarras. The major towns throughout the regon have taxi ranks and you will find the drivers, friendly with a good knowledge of the local area. The more rural towns and villages may only have one or two taxis so you may need to book in advance. For the longer trips, the airport or Granada, it is always advisable to find out the price and if booking a return trip a good meeting place before he leaves you.
