This excellent two bedroom holiday apartment is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Motril, Costa Tropical. It has a very large terrace with views over Motril and out to sea. The apartment is close to the local amenities, the beaches of Playa Granada, the Lecrin valley with its many activities and the historic city of Granada, with the famous Alhambra Palace.
The apartment is charmingly presented being bright and modern with marble floors throughout. There is a lounge/diner and a well equipped American style kitchen. The two bedrooms are both double rooms, are of a good size and have built in wardrobes. There is a modern bathroom with bath abd showering facilities. The large terrace offers outside dining and has sunloungers for your use. The apartment block has a security gate and entry phone system. There is a underground car park and the communal swimming pool is open from april until the end of october. This makes this a great base to explore the busy town of Motril and the surrounding area.

LOCAL INFORMATION
Motril is the largest town on the Costa Tropical and is the commercial and economic centre for this part of the Spanish coast line, with over 50,000 permanent residents. The interior is typically Spanish, with narrow, winding stsreets and attractive squares that have a wide and stylish variety of shops, bars and restaurants. The nightlife is lively and Motril is well known for its excellent tapas bars where the atmosphere is bustling and exciting. There is ample parking throughout the town, and the local taxis offer a really good and relatively cheap service with taxis readily available almost 24 hours a day. Motril hosts many spectacular events throughout the year more detailed information on dates, times and venues can be obtained from Motril Town Hall.
There are many supermarkets to be found around the town, plus an indoor municipal market for fresh meat, fish and vegetables and an out door market held every Tuesday and Friday mornings. Just off the main N340 coast road on the outskirts of Motril there is a large hypermarket and DIY store.
Motril has a substantial commercial and fishing port with a daily fish market on the quay side. The Yacht Club is situated on the eastern end of the main port and is a private members club but the restaurant welcomes visitors. Around the port area there are more bars and restaurants to be found with mouth watering fish menus.
Close to the port, and to the south of the town, the local beach can be found which is long and wide, with a good variety of water sport activities. The resort is very popular with Spanish tourists during the summer months. Motril Beach has its own unique village ambiance, fantastic bars, restaurants and beach discotheques. An excellent mixture of hotel, apartment and villa accommodation can be found within walking distance of the beach.
