From the coastal holiday town of Salobrena on the Costa Tropical, drive inland for just ten minutes or so winding as you go through the Guadalfeo valley. Passing on the road side orchards of avocado, lemon, orange, nispero, and chiramoya - you come upon the little white pueblo of Molvizar. The "Round House" villa is set in 7,500 metres of fruit trees, just behind the village itself. In the immediate garden of the house you will enjoy picking avocados and mandarins directly from the trees. The accommodation is very private opening directly on to the swimming pool and gardens. There are four bedrooms all with en-suite facilities.
The property has been recently renovated with excellent taste and in sympathy with the Andalucian character of the original building. The entire property is driven by renewable energy. The lounge is spacious and opens seemlessly to the covered patio which is equally well furnished. The patio has spectacular views down the valley as far as the Mediterranean sea it also has a large barbeque for "al fresco" dining. Your open plan kitchen is fitted in keeping with a country life style albeit very modern. The equipment consists of a four burner hob, large fridge freezer, kettle and every utensil you would need to make your stay comfortable. The washing machine is in the utility room.

Prices are for the property per week in euros. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due 6 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of 150 euros is required and will be returned on departure.

LOCAL INFORMATION
The location of the villa, close to the small villages of Molvizar, Octivar and Itrabo offers a choice of some interesting restaurants serving mainly local produce and are well worth a visit. These villages still remain predominanty dependent on local agriculture and are steeped in history and tradition. For walkers and wild life enthusiasts the surrounding hills and the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains offer some of the most wonderful walks all year round. Molvizar is a birdwatching paradise, you will regularly see Kestrels, Brown Eagles, Hoopee birds, Honey Buzzards, Vultures and many small varieties seldem seen in Northern Europe. We overlook the Costa Tropical with its fine beaches, for golfers the courses of Los Moriscos and Santa Clara are just a short distance away. Granada city, with the famous Alhambra Palace are less than one hours drive. The nearby town of Motril has great shopping facilities and a wide range of tapas bars and restaurants.

SKIING
Sierra Nevada ski resort is approximately 1 hours drive from the apartment. The resort is open from December to April.
