Beautifully restored Andalucian farmhouse set in the hills just 20 minutes from the historic and picturesque coastal town of Almunecar, Costa Tropical. The accommodation comprises of 2 double, 2 twin bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, both with showers. The property has a fully equiped kitchen, dining area and a large living room.  One of the bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs and have widened doors providing excellent wheelchair access. The kitchen, living room, front terrace, swimming pool and parking area are all on this level making this superb property very wheelchair friendly.  The house is in a great location for walking, birdwatching and many other activities. 

There is an abundance ot terraces with plenty of space to take in the sun....all day long.... and admire the views and the tranquillity of the location. Also outside is a BBQ, which was the old bread oven and a 4.6 metre diameter, 1.2 metre deep plunge pool to escape from the heat when necessary. The walls of the house are 0.5 metres thick giving coolness inside during the summer months. There is a large roof terrace to relax on and the front terrace runs the length of the house.

LOCAL INFORMATION

Almunecar and its handsome Moorish castle sit on a small hill between the mouths of two rivers. Almunecar has managed to retain the atmosphere and character of an old Spanish town with winding narrow streets and tapas bars. Besides tourism, fishing and the growing of tropical fruits remain at the heart of the town's day to day life.
Almunecar has beaches with good facilities - beach beds and parasols for hire, showers and toilets and life-guards in high season. The beach fronts are lined with typical Spanish restaurants and bars serving delicious seafood and tapas.
The town has a water park, bird park and botanical gardens.
There is an open air market every Friday selling Spanish leather goods and pottery as well as bargain clothing.
The first Saturday of each month is the craft and flea market- well worth a browse
