The bathroom has full bath and shower and separate toilet. We also provide beach chairs, parasol and cool box. The apartment has three spacious private terraces with plenty of chairs, sunloungers, parasols and tables and BBQ for outside dining. The terraces get the sun all day long from sunrise to sunset and they provide wonderful views of the sea and mountains. The main terrace also has a shaded area and a nice wicker seating set and plenty of plants. It is a lovely and tranquil place to while away a few hours with a good book and a glass of wine. El Fuentes is a peaceful and well maintained urbanisation 5 minutes drive from the centre of  Almunecar. There are 2 swimming pools, one a stunning infinity pool. The public areas have and abundance of plants and views over the coastline. It is peaceful and quiet and good for families or couples. Almunecar is a traditional Spanish seaside town. There are several beaches and there is lots to do. There are plenty of bars and restaurants, many of which still maintain the tradition of free tapas with your drink. It is very different from the resorts of the Costa del Sol and has yet to be ‘discovered’ by mass tourism. We are sure you would have a wonderful time.

NOTES ON PRICES

Prices are for the property per week in euros. Contact owner to pay in pounds sterling.  A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due 2 months before arrival. A 200 pound security deposit is required with the balance, this will be refunded 2 weeks after your departure when the house has been checked.

LOCAL INFORMATION

Almunecar and its handsome Moorish castle sit on a small hill between the mouths of two rivers. Almunecar has managed to retain the atmosphere and character of an old Spanish town with winding narrow streets and tapas bars. Besides tourism, fishing and the growing of tropical fruits remain at the heart of the town's day to day life.
Almunecar has beaches with good facilities - beach beds and parasols for hire, showers and toilets and life-guards in high season. The beach fronts are lined with typical Spanish restaurants and bars serving delicious seafood and tapas.
The town has a water park, bird park and botanical gardens.
There is an open air market every Friday selling Spanish leather goods and pottery as well as bargain clothing.
The first Saturday of each month is the craft and flea market- well worth a browse
