Near Granada, in the heart of  Moorish Andalucia, is nestled  in the wonderful Lecrin Valley the picturesque village of Pinos del Valle, where can be found a Bed and Breakfast with character.

It is situated at equal distance (30 minutes) from Granada or the Mediterranean Beaches and 50 minutes from the ski resort.

This rare old house, parts of which date back 250 years, has been carefully restored, preserving most of its original beams and using traditional materials.  The bed and breakfast is situated on a square for easy access and off loading.

The accommodations consists of 6 bedrooms (5 double and 1 single) all with their own shower/bathroom.

Guests can also enjoy the use of the Sitting Room, Dining Room (both with fireplaces), a “Mexican/Moroccan Patio” with a small pool (the Dip) and a large roof Terrace with sensational views of the valley, the village and the surrounding  mountains including the Alpujarras.

The house is fully heated and for those with mobility difficulties, there is a bedroom on the ground floor (with a fully equipped bathroom) that has access to the dining room and the patio.

Each bedroom has been decorated with care and has its own style. 2 have balconies and all have antique doors and windows with inside shutters.  The linen provided is made of 100% natural fibres. In each bedroom, a kettle with teas and coffees are provided for the guests.  Bathrooms and bedrooms are made daily.

Also for the use of the guests there is a Digital Television in the sitting room and the Internet can be accessed through the installed WIFI system in the house.

Breakfast is served either in the Dining room or in the Patio and consists of a choice of cereals, yogurts, fresh bread and orange juice, homemade jams and cold cuts / cheese.

The village is in easy reach of all the wonders the region has to offer.  Walks are numerous and for all levels, there is riding and tennis available, 5 golf courses, skiing and beaches galore.  The scenery in a radius of under an hour is as spectacular as it is varied and the Alhambra and all the other monuments Granada has to offer are less than ½ hour away.

There is a bar in the village which has a lovely Terrace with palm trees and all the other villages of the Lecrin Valley have restaurants and bars .

Pets are most welcome (within reason!) but due to the numerous stairs, the pool and the roof terrace, it is thought that children under 12 years old might not be safe.
