The property is  in an elevated position overlooking the new town, beach, Penon rock and boasts superb sea views.  The property is within easy reach of the beaches of both Salobrena and La Caletta and the many tapas bars, restaurants and shops in Salobrena town centre. 

This holiday rental apartment consists of a large lounge,  fully fitted and well equipped kitchen/diner, one double bedroom and one twin, bathroom with shower over and w.c. There is also a lovely sun lounge with views to the sea and an outside terrace with an equally stunning vista.

The apartment is within walking distance of the many historic tourist attractions to be found in Salobrena, which include a Moorish castle, museum and 16th century Mudejar style church.  There are also a large variety of organised walking, bird watching and flora and fauna tours and trails available in the Salobrena area, together with other organised events visiting local places of interest such as fruit farms. 

The historic town of Granada lies to the north of Salobreña as does the Sierra Nevada ski resort.  The ski season runs from December to April every year.  Just outside Salobrena is Los Moriscos golf course, which is an 18 hole, links type course with its own bar and restaurant facilities.

Prices are for the property per week in euros.  A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking, with the balance payable two months prior to when the booking begins.

LOCAL INFORMATION

Steeped in history Salobreña dates back to the 10th century.  With an ancient Moorish castle built 105m above the sea level Salobreña is a town where the old meets the new.  The old town built underneath the castle is a labyrinth of pretty narrow streets, with white washed houses decorated with colourful floral displays.  The new part of the town has wide well landscaped roads, with a variety of houses and apartments.

It benefits from a long, wide beach where water sports can be found.  Conditions for snorkelling and diving are excellent with a recently built reef off the Peñon rock encouraging vast arrays of sealife.

A mixture of old and new bars and restaurants offering an assortment of cuisine can be located throughout Salobreña town together with shops and supermarkets to cater for your every need.

Deep sea fishing, mountain  biking, walking tours, golf, birdwatching and many other activities can be found close by.
