Clubs and Associations Home Page |
When moving to, or already living in a foreign country, it is always a comfort to know that there is an established network of clubs and associations where you can meet new friends and maintain existing friendships. Whether you simply want to meet for a coffee and a chat, go on excursions, play bridge or golf or learn photographic skills there is a place locally where you can go and take part in whatever you are interested in.
Below is a brief description of some of the clubs and associations established throughout the Granada region, and along the coastline from Nerja to Adra, with a link to their own webpage showing all their latest news.

THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION - NERJA BRANCH
|
The Royal British Legion safeguards the welfare, interests and memory of those who are serving or who have served in the Armed Forces. We are one of the UK’s largest membership organisations and recognised as custodians of Remembrance. We also run the annual Poppy Appeal. We help serving and ex-Service personnel and their families. Not just those who fought in the two World Wars, but also those involved in the many conflicts since 1945 and those still fighting today. We provide welfare services, campaign on a range of issues affecting Service people, are custodians of Remembrance, raise funds through the annual Poppy Appeal and we are a membership organisation.
