Along the rugged coastline of the Costa Tropical, riding trails wind between the coastal towns, through the vegas and up into the countryside, where stunning views down to the Mediterrean Sea can be enjoyed. What could be nicer than taking one of the trails that take you along the beaches where you can ride through the surf, with the wind in your hair and the sun on your back. Horse riding holidays can be found in most of the inland areas of the Costa Tropical, Lecrin Valley and Granada region too. With its unspoilt and untamed landscape it is possible to ride all day without seeing anyone else except perhaps a farmer or shepherd. The trails pass through many different types of terrain, leading up hills and mountains and down through the fertile valleys, allowing you to totally relax, forget about everything whilst giving you a sense of space and freedom rarely found in Europe.
